ABOUT

Not just a developer.
Someone who gives a damn about what they ship.

I'm Atulya. I'm a fullstack engineer based in Pune, India, and I've been building web applications for about five years now.

My work sits at the intersection of backend architecture and frontend craft. I've built payment systems that handle real money, chat platforms that serve hundreds of users simultaneously, booking engines for one of the world's largest banks, and more recently, AI-powered tools that automate workflows and clone voices.

I care about the details. Clean database schemas. APIs that don't break under load. Frontends that load fast and feel good to use. Tests that actually catch things. CI/CD that lets teams move without fear.

When I'm not coding, I'm probably planning my next trip somewhere. I love exploring new cities, eating my way through local food markets, cafe hopping, and occasionally pretending I'm a photographer. I also love fashion and writing about projects in a unique way—case studies with personality.

Building products that matter, growing as a creator, and recently started my influencer journey on Instagram.

Infocusp Innovations LLP

Software Engineer

2024 — Present · Pune, India

I own the fullstack development of a fintech platform that processes around 5,000 transactions daily. I designed the PostgreSQL database, built the Node.js/NestJS backend, and shipped the React/Next.js frontend.

The part I'm proudest of: setting up the entire CI/CD pipeline and monorepo from scratch. Three teams now deploy independently, build times dropped 60%, and we haven't had a single security incident since launch.

Cybage Software Pvt. Ltd.

Software Engineer (Client: J.P. Morgan Chase)

2021 — 2024 · Pune, India

Spent three years building internal tools for J.P. Morgan Chase. Two major products:

A corporate travel booking engine handling 10K+ searches per week with sub-200ms response times. I built both the APIs and the accessible, responsive frontend. Also put together test suites covering 85%+ of endpoints.

A real-time chat and review platform supporting 500+ concurrent users. Built the WebSocket backend, the React/Tailwind frontend, and optimized throughput until server load dropped by 35%.

Shipped features on time across 12+ release cycles. Passed every internal security audit clean.

LIFE OUTSIDE THE TERMINAL

When I close the laptop.

I'm happiest when I'm somewhere new. I've explored 12+ cities across India and beyond, and every trip ends up being part food tour, part accidental photography session, part "let me find a cafe with wifi just in case." I love cafe hopping and fashion. I believe the best engineers are curious about more than just code. Traveling teaches me to adapt, stay resourceful, and appreciate good design in unexpected places.

Got something interesting?
Let's talk.

I'm always open to hearing about roles where I can own things end-to-end, work with sharp people, and build products that matter. Fullstack, backend-heavy, or something in between. Reach out.
